Tonny Kabugo is a Ugandan visual artist, graphic designer, and communications specialist whose work blends creativity, precision, and a deep commitment to effective storytelling. During his secondary school days, he developed a strong passion for visual communication, eventually pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Industrial and Fine Arts at the Margaret Trowell School of Industrial and Fine Arts, Makerere University. He later enhanced his professional experience with specialized training in Printing Technology and Management from the Strategic Development International in Eswatini.

With more than a decade of experience, Tonny has built a successful career in graphic design and digital printing, including serving as Head of the Digital Printing Section at Makerere University Printery. In this role, he supervised design production, ensured quality assurance, mentored interns, and coordinated timely delivery of client projects. He has designed communication and design  materials for a wide range of institutions, including UN Women, USAID Uganda, UNICEF, Uganda Bankers’ Association, several government ministries, and various academic institutions. His work has supported publications, strategic plans, educational materials, and corporate communication tools across multiple sectors.

As Communications Officer at Rockies Organization, Tonny plays a central role in shaping the organization’s public image and amplifying its message. He develops visual and written communication materials, manages branding, supports project documentation, and strengthens engagement with stakeholders, partners, and communities. His craftsmanship has contributed to improved visibility and consistency across all organizational communication.

He aims to continue strengthening Rockies Organization’s communication systems by integrating innovative digital tools, strengthening visual storytelling, and expanding the organization’s online presence. Tonny is also passionate about mentoring young creatives and advancing high-quality communication practices within Uganda’s arts and development fields.
